Makweti Safari Lodge - Welgevonden Game Reserve

Nestled within the malaria-free landscape of the Big 5 Welgevonden Game Reserve, Makweti Safari Lodge is located 39 km from Vaalwater. The lodge offers luxurious accommodation as well as an on-site restaurant.

Each of the 5 suites at Makweti have a private entrance and feature a balcony or patio offering views across the gorge-defined valley and hills. The private bathrooms come with a shower, bath and bathrobes. Extras include a minibar and a seating area.

At Makweti Safari Lodge you will find an outdoor swimming pool, and guests can relax on the lodges open lounge and viewing deck, 80 yards from the stream-fed waterhole.

The lodge also offers free WiFi and rates include 2 safaris in open vehicles daily.

Bela-Bela is within a 2-hour drive of the lodge.

The hotel day starts from hour 13:00 and ends at 11:30.
