Located 12 km from Heidelberg, Akasha Mountain Retreat, new location is nestled in a serene setting with magnificent views over the Langeberg mountains.
Akasha Mountain Retreat, new location consists of a Cape-Maroc style private villa with 3 buildings: A 2-bedroom house, a cottage with 2 interleading bedrooms and a 1-bedroom cottage,located near each other. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge and dining with fireplace and a patio, terrace and BBQ facilities.
At Akasha, guests have exclusive use of the private villa, as well as the 130-hectare property on which is it located. Explore the vast grounds boasting fynbos, forest kloofs and a river bed - with a guide, or alone after receiving a complimentary orientation drive. The property is rich in indigenous flora, fauna and bird life.
The Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve is 25 km away and the Breede River, which meets the Indian Ocean is a 50-minute drive away.
The hosts live nearby, and can arrange meals or grocery deliveries.
The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 10:00.
Please note that there is a 10 km dirt road leading up to the property and a recreational vehicle is recommended, especially during wet weather.
